Research

The research activities in the sanctuary is in preliminary stage, mainly confined to elephant depredation pattern crop density etc. Some stuidies through the students of OUAT for crop composition and comparision with density classification of FSI are underway.

Training

Training of frontline staff is essential for better management of a protected area. The advancement of technology and its method of application in the field need to be percolated down up to grass root level and their skill up graded to cope up with the changed scenario.Different training programme are conducted for field staff and other stake holders depending on the need like livelihood support, eco tourism, health camp etc.
